How to take a screenshot of your desktop screen on a Mac? By default, Mac OS X provides two methods. The first method uses a tool called Grab. The second method uses a combination of shortcut.

Now we will discuss how to capture the screen using a shortcut. You can capture the entire screen by using the shortcut [Command] + [Shift] + [3]. Hold [Command] + [Shift] + [4] and then press the Space Bar, a small camera icon appears. When you move the camera icon on the element you wish to take, these elements will be highlighted. Click the mouse or trackpad, and you've captured a screenshot of the element without the other images in the background.
